Stephen’s Fine Foods’ Products Awarded Yet Again!

The team at Stephen’s Fine Foods is thrilled and humbled to have walked away with a number of awards at a recent award fairs in Melbourne Hobart! We’re very honoured to have received these recognitions for yet another year, going up against the best manufacturers of sweets and desserts in Australia.

Stephen’s took out the bronze medal for their Traditional Christmas Pudding at the Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards, which is fiercely competitive every year. This particular pudding has been perfected over 30 years and is stocked in cake stores, cafes and supermarkets all over Australia. It’s actually our bestseller not just during the festive season, but all year around! The winter months saw increased interest due to Christmas in July celebrations and the increased demand of warm, tasty puddings when it’s cold.

The Christmas Pudding Roll, which is a take on the traditional pudding but is oblong shaped and more convenient for slicing and other applications, was awarded the gold medal in its class. They come vacuum sealed off our website and after preheating are ready to serve! People love the new shape and many of our suppliers actually prefer it to the more conventional varieties. Guess that’s why we got the nod.

But we weren’t finished there, also being recognised for our range of condiments – which (if you’re wondering) are a must if you’re thinking of buying a pudding from us. We were awarded gold for both our traditional plum and brandy butterscotch sauce (perhaps the most important aspect of a sticky date pudding), which can also be purchased online. This is the second year running the plum pudding has been awarded gold at the Royal Hobart Fine Food Awards, and we foresee it walking away with many more in the years to come.

We encourage you to taste our award-winning pudding or sauce varieties by buying from one of our stockists (link to stockists) or simply buy on our site!
