With so many amazing sauces, relishes, chutneys and jams available, when entertaining it can be very hard to figure out which kind of topping will go best with your meal. Often you will need a good mix of sweet and savoury to really bring out the flavours and textures of your food and a choice of sauces can really help your dinner party, or Christmas meal, special and luxurious.

With this in mind, Stephen’s Fine Food has created a small, well curated range of condiments, sauces, and toppings that are not only beautifully made but very tasty and real crowd pleasers.

Plum Sauce

Plum sauce is a delicious addition to any special dinner party that features roast poultry. Duck, chicken and turkey are all fantastic options to have with this delicious condiment but you can also use plum sauce on veggies, meat balls or even add some to home-made sausages. Don’t forget plum sauce makes a wonderful marinade as well.

Cranberry Sauce

You can’t have a Christmas dinner without cranberry sauce, but his wonderful relish doesn’t have to be used exclusively at Christmas time, Stephen’s Fine Food makes a delicious traditional cranberry sauce infused with port and orange that will be sure to delight topping all sorts of meat on your sandwiches and cold cuts as well as your Christmas spread.

Brandy Butterscotch Sauce

Truly decadent and mouth-watering, brandy butterscotch sauce is the perfect accompaniment to a traditional Christmas pudding and also makes a wonderful Christmas gift. Warming this heavenly sauce and pouring it over pudding, apple fritters or baked bananas, or even over simple vanilla ice cream, this sauce will take your dessert to the next level.

Tomato and Chilli Jam

This delectable jam can be used as a relish on a variety of meats and is especially delicious on roast beef. Tomato and chilli jam is a fantastic addition to the selection of sauces you can offer at your Christmas buffet but can also be used on sandwiches as a spread, as a marinade on a roast or bbq meat and veggies, or even as a salad dressing. This jam can add a beautiful sweet mild chilli flavouring to any meal.

Chocolate & Bourbon Sauce

This incredibly versatile sauce is a fantastic addition to all kinds of desserts. Drizzle over puddings and cakes, add it to your favourite bread pudding recipe or try out one of the hundreds of creative recipes online using chocolate and bourbon sauce, including peanut butter brownies, chocolate chip blondies and even ginger cake. Often the best use is the easiest as this sauce is at its most incredible over a couple of scoops of ice cream.
